I am so happy to announce that today I passed my qualifying exams in my Ph.D. program in the School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering (SICE) at Indiana University Bloomington. My advisory committee was integrated by great faculty from my program: Prof. Patrick Shih (Chair and advisor), Katie Siek, and Marty Siegel. I am so grateful for all their help and advice throughout this academic journey!
The essay I wrote covers a literature review of studies with stigmatized populations conducted in HCI and other fields. In particular, the essay also includes a review of research with people living with HIV.
