I attended the “2019 Preparing Future Faculty” conference organized by the Indiana University Graduate School. This was a one-day event packed with talks and roundtable sessions where faculty and researchers from different universities and colleges shared their insights and tips for leading successful careers inside and outside of academia. Topics ranged from navigating the job market, pedagogy, to the exploration of opportunities in academia and industry.
