Our paper “Designing Health Technologies for Immigrant Communities]{Designing Health Technologies for Immigrant Communities: Exploring Healthcare Providers’ Communication Strategies with Patients” was presented at the CHI 2025 conference in Japan!

It was great to be part of the organising team for the South West Pre-CHI’25 Conference. I was also the Doctoral Consortium (DC) Chair. It was a great event where students from all over the South West UK could present their CHI-accepted work and network!

So glad to have been selected to be part of this year’s Welsh Crucible cohort! I look forward to learning and networking with great colleagues from all across Wales!

I have been invited to be co-chair of the posters track for the upcoming British Computing Society: HCI Conference 2025 which will take place in Cardiff University in Wales, UK.

Fully funded doctoral student (PhD): I am hiring a highly motivated person for a fully funded PhD position to work in the development of socio-technical interventions with and for Armed Forces Veterans (AFV). I will be part of the Program Committee serving as Associate Chair (AC) for next year’s ACM Conference on Designing Interactive Systems (DIS’25).

I presented my research as well as organized with a group of awesome colleagues a workshop on human-centred co-design methods during the India Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) 2024 conference in Mumbai!

I had a great time giving a research talk and forging potential future collaborations in the Open Lab research group at Newcastle University.

I’m so excited that both out MASI Basecamp 2024 proposals to co-design tech with vulnerable groups have been accepted for funding!
